Homily

I quote Bishop Bailon:

"GRATITUDE IS A MARK OF AN EDUCATED MAN"

this was taken from the homily rendered by Bishop Bailon during the mass.

Anniversary Mass

March 17, 1986 was the day my uncle entered the life of priesthood. It is said, priesthood is a life full of compassion and in the face of the concern, joy, anxiety & sorrows of others. After 25 years of having a pastoral life of my uncle,we are glad to celebrate the festivity of the Silver Sacerdotal Anniversary of Rev. Fr. Eduardo B. Bellen at the St. Rose of Lima Parish Church, Bacacay, Albay.

The day starts early. A little bit of rain pour from time to time. Food preparation, the venue and the different guests have been checked. Stress are on the loose when some minor glitches happens before the event start but everything goes well as planed. I can say my Auntie Amy, which is also the over-all head of the event is preparing for this event months before the day arrive.

Hours before the event starts we also need to prepare our selves to be presentable to the guests because after all, we are the host family. Our family sometimes make jokes about "para tayong magpapakasal ng isang binata". Well, that joke seems true after all. We are preparing for the wedding anniversary of my uncle & the  Lord. The're renewal of vows.

At the St. Rose of Lima Parish Church, where my Uncle which I called "TITO ED" is also assigned as Parish Priest is where the event officially started. A mass was held there which started 3 in the afternoon & ended almost 4:30pm.

Here are some pictures taken during the mass.
